How do I determine the asking price of my property?
There are many options to determine the value of your property. Homes sold in the immediate area or developments are called “comparables”, or comps for short. The best indication of value is a comparable that has sold recently in the neighborhood. An appraisal is an excellent sales tool for prospective buyers: expect to pay $200 for a “drive by” and $300 for a full interior/exterior appraisal.

Remember, your home is worth what somebody else is willing to pay for it.
